Using licence number 019/13, Bunna Insurance S.C. was founded on May 25, 2013, and in August of that same year, it began offering general insurance services to the general public. The company began offering long-term insurance services on September 21, 2021. Bunna has been in operation for almost ten years. Remarkable progress has been made in the growth of premium income and capital increase in such a short time.
The company’s paid-up capital was Birr 6,715,000 at founding. However, in order to meet capital requirements outlined in National Bank of Ethiopia Directive No. S/B/34/2014, establish the company’s competence in the industry, and cultivate customer trust, the company’s paid-up capital has since increased to over Birr 200 million. Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or a similar discipline.
