The Crisis Response team at FHI 360 has been addressing the humanitarian crisis in Northern Ethiopia by implementing an integrated project encompassing health, nutrition, WASH, and protection to address the vital requirements of the displaced population.

WISH LIST OF QUALITIES:

  • An associate’s degree or its equivalent internationally International relations with an emphasis on security management, political/social science, business administration, information management, security management, or other pertinent education
  • 0–2 years of increasingly responsible experience in security management, police, military, and investigation; ideally in a related field or within the police/military context.
  • It is desirable if you have prior experience working for another company in a comparable capacity.
  • proficient in both English and the local Somali language.
  • strong familiarity with the local environment
  • unbiased in their evaluation

JOB 2: Officer of Finance and Administration

IDEAL STATISTICAL DETAILS

  • three to five years of experience conducting internal control assessments along with more responsibility experience in finance, operations, and accounting in a government contracting setting.
  • a degree from a university in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • proficiency with HRIS/Payroll systems and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
  • Desired is specialized or vocational training.
  • While not necessary, prior job experience in a non-governmental organization (NGO) is preferred.
  • proficient in both the local tongue and English.
