QuaLabels Manufacturers PLC, is the first packaging company of its kind in our country based surrounding Addis Ababa in Sheger City Lege Tafo. Therefore, we are looking to hire as per in the Job Specification below.

Position: Jr. Accountant

Education: BA: in Accounting and Finance

Experience: 1 to 2 years manufacturing experience

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain financial data bases.
• Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.
• Make sure that posting are properly and timely made.
• Prepare payment Vouchers, receive money and issue receipts invoices.
• Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.
• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedure.
• Collect bank statements of each account monthly and timely.
• Maintain an efficient filing system and documents on daily basis.
• Keep all financial documents properly and up to date.
• Responsible for settlement of profit tax, income tax pension fund, withholding tax .etc on time.
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Monitor and support taxation issue.
• Assists the IGA manager in developing and implementing a good internal control system.
• Ensure that all government taxes laws and regulation are strictly adhered to and taxes are paid on time.
• Provide adequate financial information to external Auditors Whenever necessary.
• Perform other duties as required and assigned.
• Paid daily petty cash payment based on the approved policy (daily).
• Prepare cheque and payment voucher based on the approved Payment Request (daily)
• Prepare withholding tax voucher based on the payment request attached with payment voucher (daily)
• Prepare daily petty cash payment summary and update to the daily report (daily)
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of all financial files
• Other accounting/finance support as needed
