The biggest taxi booking website in Ethiopia is called RIDE, and it mainly serves Addis Ababa and Djibouti. Over 11 years since its founding by Samrawit Fikru, it has grown to become one of Ethiopia’s most well-known brands.

Qualifications and Skills for Position 1: Branding Officer:
• Education: Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration, marketing, or a similar discipline.
• Experience: One to two years in a marketing position, ideally in a branding or research setting.
• Languages: Written and spoken proficiency in Amharic and English.
Important duties include:
• Ensuring that trademarks and logos are used correctly in all co-branded vehicles in order to protect the company’s intellectual property.
• Increase partner brand awareness by implementing co-branding vehicles in an efficient manner.
• Take the lead in identifying and integrating drivers as possible co-branding representatives.
• To safeguard the interests of stakeholders, explain the terms and conditions of co-branding projects to all parties, including drivers, and make sure they are followed.
• Keep up solid ties with partner businesses to guarantee efficient project implementation.
• Create and oversee a reliable reporting system that provides timely financial and project performance updates.
• Adhere to non-disclosure laws and establish and monitor data security procedures.
• Assure prompt and precise scheduling of drivers’ service fee payments.
• Organize sales campaigns and make sure that pertinent audiences are effectively communicated with.

Position 2: Qualifications & Skills of a Sales Executive
• A bachelor’s degree in marketing or a similar field
• Relevant Experience: Prior experience selling cars or electric vehicles is advantageous. A minimum of two years of experience is required.
• Excellent negotiating and communication abilities.
• Professional and focused on the needs of the customer.
• An openness to learning or a basic understanding of electric vehicles.
• Capacity to oversee lead tracking systems and use CRM tools.
• A current driver’s license is necessary.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and team-focused.
Principal Duties:
• Professionally greet and help clients to learn about their needs and preferences.
• Give precise and thorough details about the models, features, costs, and specifications of the electric vehicles that are currently available.
• Help clients choose the best support plans by guiding them through their financing options.
• Using CRM or other platforms, keep an organized lead pipeline and communicate updates to stakeholders on a regular basis.
• Have a thorough understanding of client needs in order to provide appropriate solutions and establish enduring partnerships.
• Plan and assist with EV awareness and sales-related campaigns, events, and promotions.
• Oversee test drive sessions and make sure that every customer has a great experience.
• Work together with financial institutions and dealerships to expedite the purchasing process.
• Keep up-to-date customer information and make sure that inquiries and post-purchase follow-ups happen on time.

Position 3: Senior Manager of Procurement Training and Experience:
• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, supply chain management, or a similar discipline is necessary.
• Master’s Degree: For higher-level roles, a master’s degree in supply management or business administration is preferred.
• Relevant Experience: Five years or more of experience in purchasing, supply chain management, procurement, or a similar field, with a track record of success in a managerial capacity.
• Industry-Specific Experience: Experience pertinent to the organization’s particular industry, such as manufacturing, technology, or healthcare, can be very helpful.
