About SAMANU PLC
SAMANU is a platform company managing some of Ethiopia’s most well-established brands in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sub-sectors. Their portfolio includes Tena Edible Oils, which is a staple in Ethiopian kitchens, as well as 555 and Aura Soaps & Detergents, and Chef Luca wheat products.
Currently, SAMANU imports raw sunflower oil, primarily from Eastern Europe, and refines and packages it locally. However, the company is shifting gears towards sustainability and local sourcing. With significant new investment, SAMANU is constructing a state-of-the-art solvent extraction plant. This facility will allow the company to produce raw oil directly from sunflowers grown by Ethiopian farmers, reducing import dependency and creating jobs. 1. Account Payable Coordinator
- Qualification: BA in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: 2 Years of work experience (FMCG background is a plus).
- Software Skills: MS Office (Excel, Outlook) and ERP knowledge.
- Key Competency: Must have functional knowledge of the payment cycle and local tax laws.
