Key Responsibilities
The MCP Coordinator is responsible for securing and expanding a stable source of raw milk supply. Key duties include:
- Identify and recommend strategies for the Dairy Development Program (DDP).
- Coordinate quality control and analysis for raw milk at Fitche, Muke Turi & Chancho MCPs.
- Manage relationships with local authorities, specifically regarding animal health and dairy extension.
- Manage husbandry extension activities to dairy farmers.
- Develop and supervise dairy training programs in cooperation with the Training Officer.
- Secure raw milk supply sources in accordance with regulations and company standards.
- Plan visits and assist on projects under the Dairy Development Team.
Job Requirements
🎓 Education
BSc Degree in Animal Science, Plant Science, Agriculture, or related fields.
📅 Experience
Minimum of Five (5) Years relevant experience in a similar role.
🗣️ Skills & Competencies
- Mandatory: Fluent communication in Oromiffa, Amharic, and English.
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build relations with farmers.
- Energetic and passionate about learning.
- Effective team building and sociability.
- Strong time management skills.
