The importance of education in promoting democracy, good governance, and sustainable development is generally acknowledged.

Effective education can only play this function if competent people can be developed and the quality of education is maintained. To ensure that everyone in our nation receives an equal education, regulations pertaining to training and education have been created and put into action. The nation’s goal of ending poverty and developing into a developed nation is the basis of the education and training strategy. Within this general framework, significant initiatives that our city has carried out recently have had positive results in terms of enhancing educational inclusion and equality in our community.

Accessibility and fairness in education have come a long way in our community, but there is still a great deal of work to be done in terms of quality. As a consequence, a comprehensive program for education quality assurance was developed and implemented. Since the package’s implementation, work has been done to ensure that the curriculum can meet the profile expected from the education level, that teachers have received pre-service and on-the-job training to enable them to provide quality instruction, and that civics and ethics education should be included in the curriculum. Education leaders have also received training to improve their leadership skills. In view of the overall outcomes, the development of new educational organizations and processes to bring about institutional change and experience sharing, and the use of change tools such as BPR and BSC based on research, it is not feasible to conclude that the recorded results are adequate.

Because of this, encouraging developments are starting to show that a generation capable of bringing about a national renaissance is emerging. All parties involved in education, including non-governmental organizations, teachers, students, parents, and private investors, as well as education leadership at all levels, are accountable for sustaining this. This states that in order to meet the obligations placed on the education sector, the Addis Ababa City Administration Education Office diligently worked to tackle the city’s complicated education system issue by building several schools, preparing instructors, and augmenting educational resources. The city’s population may benefit from high-quality education while simultaneously accelerating and maintaining the city’s economic growth by carrying out the verification package.
