Position: HR Intern for People and Culture
EXPERTISE AND KNOWLEDGE:
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a discipline like management, human resource management, law, or a related social science is required.
We encourage applications from recent graduates from 2023 and 2024 who have no prior work experience.
Strong interpersonal skills, a fundamental understanding of human resource management, good organizational skills with attention to detail, and discretion while handling confidential information are among the key traits that are sought after.
It would be beneficial to demonstrate a sincere interest in human relations, the capacity to work well in a team environment, and familiarity with the fundamentals of HR laws, procedures, and practices.
Proficiency in written and oral communication is vital, as is the ability to organize work into priorities and adhere to deadlines.
The position necessitates proficiency with common office software, such as the Microsoft Office suite, and the ability to become acquainted with P&C/HR systems.
Display accuracy in the preparation of documents and data management, along with a knowledge of the value of maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical norms when managing information about human resources. Top of Form Bottom of Form
To improve employee engagement, growth, and satisfaction within the company, an intern in the People and Culture (P&C) department will assist with a variety of P&C/HR tasks. Help with the hiring process by contacting potential hires, and setting up, and managing interviews.
In addition, an intern will help with secretarial tasks, welcome new hires, and scheduling onboarding procedures. In addition, supporting employee events, keeping HR records, and helping the people and culture team with initiatives that support a diverse, inclusive, and happy work environment are all part of the tasks.
The internship offers a chance to gain insight into P&C/HR operations and to understand the critical role that P&C/HR plays in the success of organizations.
