The Ethiopian Private Higher Education and Technical and Vocational Education and Training Institutions Association has stated that the results of the 2017 mid-year exit exam have not been received by private higher education institutions.

Although it was announced yesterday that the exit exam results have been sent to colleges, the Ethiopian Private Higher Education and Technical and Vocational Education and Training Institutions Association has informed Tikvah University that the results of the examinees have not yet been sent to private higher education institutions.

Tefera Gebeyehu, the association’s manager, stated that various private educational institutions, including Unity University, have confirmed that the results of students have not been sent to private higher education institutions.

The manager, who stated that he had spoken to the Ministry of Education on the matter, indicated that “we will finish the technical things and send them.”

Therefore, the manager asked the private examinees to wait patiently until the results are finalized and sent to the private higher education institutions.

“Private higher education institutions’ exit exam results to be released by tomorrow.” – Ministry of Education

The results of the candidates who took the 2017 mid-year exit exam at private higher education institutions have not yet been released.

In this regard, the candidates who took the exit exam at private higher education institutions have submitted their complaints to Tikvah University.

We have asked the senior management of the Ministry of Education why the results were not released at the same time as those at public universities.

The management stated that the institutions that are taking the exit exam for the first time are the ones who pay the fees for the candidates.

However, the head said that there was a delay in the release of the results because the institutions had not paid the fees.

The head assured Tikvah that since most of the private higher education institutions are currently paying the fees, the results of the candidates will be released by tomorrow, Saturday, February 8, 2017.

He said that the results of the candidates who took the exit exam privately will also be sent to the institutions where they were tested.
