Summary of Employee Positions

The Human Resource Officer will be in charge of overseeing the hiring and selection process, monitoring employment contracts, which involves maintaining accurate records, updating personnel data, including payroll information, on a monthly basis, and helping with all HR-related duties within the department.

Tasks and obligations:

keeps track of employees’ personal files, which have to contain all the necessary paperwork according to the staff file checklist.
Collaborate closely with the HR Manager and support the Pension Agency’s employee registration and notification process.
Determine whether positions are open, set up evaluation procedures, collaborate with relevant department members on the hiring and selection process, and generate all necessary reports.
makes certain that the appropriate department schedules and conducts the inductions for all newly hired employees.
supports the handling of employee complaints in accordance with Ethiopian labor law and the ebs Television Ethiopia PLC handbook.
Make sure that all staff files have signed and updated JDs, and that staff performance reviews are completed on schedule.
keeps track of all employees’ leave records, updates them, and makes that the monthly leave report is current.
oversees the staff departure procedure, which involves handling work certificates, clearance, and last payments, among other things.
setting up a date for the written test and interview with the relevant department unit.
Providing the chosen candidate with a summary of the written exam and interview results
Monitoring employee attendance
Report on the designated area on a regular basis.
carries out any additional relevant duties that the supervisor assigns.

Concerning Your Job Requirements

HRM or business management bachelor’s degree.
Five years or more of work experience
the capacity to generate and convey reports in an understandable manner as needed.
Outstanding ability to operate in a team and exercise personal initiative.
strong communication skills, both in writing and speaking.
dedication to the media industry.
