1. Waxes and polishes floors and furniture.
2. Washes and cleans walls and window panes.
3. Cleans carpets and rugs usinga vacuum cleaner or other cleaning equipment.
4. Check faucets, sinks, and toilets; if they are not in order, report them immediately to the supervisor for repair.
5. Handles office equipment, machines, and appliances carefully while dusting and cleaning.
6. Sees to it that all lights, heaters, etc.. are turned off; water taps closed and office property locked before leaving the premises.
7. Keeps in good order equipment materials supplied for cleaning.
8. Collects, disposes,s and/or oincineratesed waste.
9. Ensures correct application of detergents and cleaning chemicals to avoid waste and damage to surfaces.
10. Performs other related functions as required.
